Nottingham Forest monitoring £25million Premier League transfer battle for defender

Nottingham Forest are 'keeping an eye' on Bayer Leverkusen defender Odilon Kossounou.

The 22-year-old earned a move to the Bundesliga club back in 2021, after breaking through and catching the eye with his performances for Club Brugge in Belgium. Once West Ham United’s first went in, the Reds simply collapsed. They completely folded. A horrible combination of dismal defending and dreadful game-management which saw them fall apart.

As Steve Cooper said: “It was unacceptable in so many ways, and particularly from a mentality, a concentration and decision-making point of view.” The Forest head coach admitted he was finding it “difficult to comprehend” what had happened.
