Nottingham Forest are reportedly closing in on their 17th signing of the summer transfer window with a €5million deal apparently 'agreed' with Bordeaux to sign South Korea international striker Hwang Ui-jo.
Wolverhampton Wanderers are another Premier League club that have been credited with an interest in the 29-year-old. Hwang was not involved in the matchday squad as the recently-relegated side drew 0-0 with Grenoble in the French second-tier on Sunday night.
Since finishing rock-bottom of Ligue 1 last season, in a campaign that saw Hwang finish as the club's top goalscorer with 11 as well as assisting another two, the striker has featured for just 20 minutes of action across two separate substitute appearances this month. Should a transfer be completed, though, Reds fans apparently shouldn't expect to see their 17th signing in action at the City Ground anytime soon.

Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Hwang is 'close' to signing a three-year contract with Forest after a €5million (£4.2million) deal has been agreed. The twist, though, is that he will apparently be loaned out to fellow Evangelos Marinakis-owned club Olympiacos for a year first.
The Reds have yet to conduct any transfer business with the perennial Greek champions this summer, although they did sign Philip Zinkernagel from Watford.. Last season, then-club-record signing João Carvalho was sold to the Piraeus-based club during the January transfer window, and Tunisia international Mohamed Dräger arrived from Olympiacos just over 12 months ago, but the defender is now out on loan at Swiss side Luzern.
