Nottingham Forest dynamic duo Djed Spence and Brennan Johnson have won plenty of plaudits this term.
And BBC pundit Mark Lawrenson has tipped them both to make their mark at Premier League level in the future.
The pair have developed a good bond and been in sparkling form for the Reds as Steve Cooper’s side have climbed the Championship table and progressed in the FA Cup.
Spence and Johnson will have a key part to play in a potentially season-defining few weeks for Forest as they face some big fixtures in March.
First up is a trip to Sheffield United on Friday night, with an FA Cup fifth round tie against Huddersfield Town to come next Monday.
They have already seen off Premier League Arsenal and Leicester City in the cup. And Lawrenson has backed the Reds to progress further, predicting a 2-1 victory at the City Ground as he heaped praise on the job Cooper has done since taking charge.
Offering his predictions for the fifth round ties on the BBC Sport website, he said: “I watched Huddersfield draw 0-0 with Preston at Deepdale a few weeks ago and they didn't look like scoring - they were really good at keeping the ball but didn't create much. Mind you, neither did North End.
“The Terriers are obviously doing something right though, because they are flying in the Championship and have not lost since 27 November.
“Nottingham Forest's league form is not as consistent as that but they have already had two brilliant wins in the FA Cup, knocking out Arsenal and holders Leicester at the City Ground.
“This is a very different kind of occasion, and Huddersfield will be awkward opponents but the City Ground will be bouncing again for this one, which will make a difference.
“I've been very impressed with Forest since Steve Cooper took charge, and they've got a couple of players in Djed Spence and Brennan Johnson who can definitely play at higher level.
“Huddersfield don't concede many goals, and both teams play good football, so there will be no 'crash, bang, wallop' from whoever makes it into the quarter-finals, but I am going with Forest to edge it.”
Nottingham-based rapper, and Forest fan, Bru-C went with the same scoreline, saying: “I'm at this one but it is going to be a horrible game to watch, because it is going to be close - it's very tough to predict.
“Everyone is going to have an eye on Forest here just because of the way we played against Leicester, and this is a totally different occasion, but I do think we will turn it on again in the FA Cup. We had a really good win over Bristol City at the weekend and if we play like that, then we will get through.”
The draw for the next round of the cup will take place on Thursday, March 3, ahead of the tie between Everton and Boreham Wood.
