Newcastle United are reportedly interested in Nottingham Forest duo Brennan Johnson and Renan Lodi.
Johnson has been a key player in the Reds return to the Premier League with the forward playing every league game for Forest this season, although he picked up an injury against Tottenham on Saturday. The 21-year-old has been in fantastic form having scored seven league goals in 26 appearances during the current campaign.
Brazilian defender Lodi joined Steve Cooper's side on loan in the summer from Atletico Madrid and has also been a mainstay in the Reds eleven. The left-back has played 18 league games for the Reds.

But according to the Athletic, the duo are attracting interest from the Magpies this summer. Forest face Newcastle on Friday at the City Ground although Johnson remains a serious injury doubt over featuring in the clash between the two sides.
The report says that Eddie Howe is looking to build on a positive first full season at Newcastle and begin the next phase of the club's ambitious rebuild as they seek a return to European football next season.
They claim that Johnson is liked and that Renan Lodi, who was of interest last summer, has featured again during conversations.
