Defender Loic Bade has been linked with a January move after struggling to force his way into contention at Nottingham Forest.
The 22-year-old made the switch to the City Ground in the summer on a season-long loan from Rennes, with the Reds holding an option to sign him permanently. However, he has found himself down the pecking order and is yet to get on the pitch for Steve Cooper’s side.
His parent club are said to be ready to recall him next month. And reports in Spain have suggested Sevilla are interested in taking him for the second half of the season.

According to The Chiringuito TV, the Spanish outlet are “in negotiations” with Rennes to cut short Bade’s Forest spell and sign him on loan. Director Monchi is said to have the player on his list of potential defensive reinforcements.
Bade has also recently been linked with fellow Evangelos Marinakis-owned club Olympiacos. And a report claimed the Reds had agreed not to play him so as not to scupper a January transfer, with players allowed to only play for two teams in one season and the Frenchman having already turned out for Rennes.
Forest head coach Cooper has previously said of the summer signing: “We haven’t got a bigger squad than normal in the Premier League; you can only name 25 in your squad anyway. So there is obviously going to be a line that some people don’t quite get over, to get in the team.
“Loic hasn’t featured yet. But he’s training very well, he’s settling in, his English is getting much better, he has a good attitude towards training and good self-belief.
“It’s one of those things where you just have to work hard and wait for your time. When that is, that will be down to a number of factors.
“Loic isn’t the only one who you could ask that question about. There’s a story on loads of people at the moment, about them being in the team, out the team, not playing yet, continuing to play.
“It’s just the life of a football manager, where you’re trying to integrate everybody and trying to pick the right team. But I’m very happy with his work ethic and very happy with how he’s trying to listen to how we want to play and taking things on board.
“He’s a young player who has come from a different country. It’s the Premier League, in England. It’s interesting talking to some of the older foreign boys about how they talk about the Premier League in England being very different to anything else. There’s going to be a natural phase of adaptation for any of them - especially for a young player."
