Nottingham Forest transfer target Antoine Semenyo is the subject of interest from Celtic, his agent has revealed.
The 22-year-old winger has caught the eye with his impressive performances for Bristol City this season.
Forest had a bid for Semenyo turned down by the Robins on transfer deadline day last month.
The offer is said to have fallen "well short" of Bristol City's staggering £20m valuation.
Semenyo has scored six goals and eight assists in 21 league appearances so far this season, attracting interest from a number of club.
His agent, Tony Finnegan, has revealed a conversation he had with Celtic scout Craig Strachan, son of Scottish legend Gordon.
"I had a conversation with Strachan who rang up to ask little bits of info on the player and a bit about how I found him and what he's like as a lad," Finnegan told Football Scotland.
"That was it. If it's something they're going to do in the summer window I'm not sure but it's nice to know that his talents are going as far as Scotland to one of the great institutions in world football. There's not really much more to say than that."
