Nottingham Forest confirm another transfer as deadline day drama claim emerges

FC Luzern have confirmed they have a purchase option on Nottingham Forest defender Mohamed Drager, following his loan move.

The right-back completed a switch to the Swiss side earlier today, joining a number of other players in departing the City Ground during the past month.

Announcing his signing, Luzern said he will spend the rest of the season with them and they have "a purchase option for a permanent takeover" of Drager at the end of the campaign.

The Tunisia international joined the Reds from fellow Evangelos Marinakis -owned outfit Olympiacos last summer, but has yet to get out on the pitch.

Deadline drama

The centre-back was a target for Portuguese side Vitoria during the transfer window, with a loan deal believed to have initially been in the offing.

However, OJogo claim a permanent switch, with season-and-a-half-long terms, was on the table on Monday and Figueiredo had reached an agreement to terminate his Reds contract.

But the report adds Forest were “late in sending the documentation” and the move fell through.

Wallace stance

Millwall Boss Gary Rowett has stressed the importance of keeping winger Jed Wallace at The Den after interest in the player during the January transfer window.

Wallace, whose contract expires in the summer, was a target for Nottingham Forest, but the player ended up staying with the Lions.

Forest saw several bids rejected ahead of Monday's transfer deadline as boss Steve Cooper looked to bolster his squad.

Following Millwall's 0-0 draw with Preston in the Championship on Tuesday night, Rowett addressed the fact the winger was still at the club.

Upcoming fixtures against Stoke City, Bournemouth, Preston and Bristol City will be key to push for a place in the top six.

But can they achieve the play-offs? We have taken a look at what a supercomputer is predicting using data provided by FiveThirtyEight.
