Head coach Steve Cooper makes two changes to his Nottingham Forest starting XI for this afternoon’s clash with Reading.
The Reds turn their attention back to the league today, as they aim to keep up their push for the Championship play-offs.
It comes after they progressed to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup on Monday night, when they toppled Huddersfield Town 2-1 on the banks of the Trent - the first time they have made the last-eight of the competition since 1996.
Sam Surridge netted his first goal for the club, on his first start in the Garibaldi, against the Terriers, with Ryan Yates bagging what proved to be the winner.
Surridge is back on the bench for the match with the Royals, however, as Keinan Davis returns to the starting line-up.
Ethan Horvath kept his place between the posts for the cup tie, having impressed in the three previous matches while Brice Samba was suspended. And the American continues in goal for Forest’s return to league action.
Once again, he has the back three of Joe Worrall, Steve Cook and Scott McKenna in front of him, with Djed Spence and Max Lowe in the wing-back spots.
Yates and James Garner keep their places in the side, but the latter moves into a more advanced position as Jack Colback returns to the XI.
Yates and Colback are set to take up the central midfield roles, with Garner joining Brennan Johnson and Davis in attack as Philip Zinckernagel is not included in the matchday squad.
Joining Surridge among the substitutes are Samba, Tobias Figueiredo, Alex Mighten, Cafu, Joe Lolley and Xande Silva.
Ahead of kick-off at the City Ground, Cooper’s side are 10th in the table, five points below the play-off places, while their opponents sit just above the relegation zone.
Forest: Horvath, Worrall, Cook, McKenna, Spence, Yates, Colback, Lowe, Garner, Johnson, Davis. Subs: Samba, Figueiredo, Surridge, Mighten, Cafu, Silva, Lolley.
