Head coach Steve Cooper has named his Nottingham Forest team to face Liverpool in this afternoon’s clash.
After successive away games, the Reds are back in action in front of a capacity City Ground crowd today. And it is a very different line-up to the one which went toe-to-toe with Jurgen Klopp’s men in the FA Cup last season.
Forest go into the game on the back of Tuesday night’s draw at Brighton and Hove Albion which saw them register their first clean-sheet on the road in the league this season. A tough run of form sees them without a win in nine Premier League matches and sitting bottom of the table.

Cooper makes two changes to the XI which shut out the Seagulls. Taiwo Awoniyi and Cheikhou Kouyate come into the team, with Brennan Johnson and Orel Mangala dropping to the bench.
The Reds stick with the same back line which started at the Amex Stadium in midweek. Neco Williams looks set to continue at left-back, with Serge Aurier on the right. Steve Cook and Scott McKenna make up the centre-back pairing, ahead of goalkeeper Dean Henderson.
Kouyate, Ryan Yates and Remo Freuler will line up in the centre of the pitch. Up front, Morgan Gibbs-White and Jesse Lingard will support Awoniyi.
On the substitutes’ bench will be Wayne Hennessey, Giulian Biancone, Joe Worrall, Sam Surridge, Emmanuel Dennis, Willy Boly and Renan Lodi, along with Johnson and Mangala.
Forest: Henderson; Aurier, Cook, McKenna, Williams; Kouyate, Yates, Freuler; Lingard, Awoniyi, Gibbs-White. Subs: Hennessey, Biancone, Worrall, Mangala, Surridge, Johnson, Dennis, Boly, Lodi.
