Dean Saunders says he could see Nottingham Forest signing Aaron Ramsey following the midfielder's Juventus exit.
The Welshman is a free agent after leaving Juve following three seasons in Italy. Former Arsenal star Ramsey, who previously had a loan spell at Forest, was thought to be amongst the higher earners in Turin, with a reported income of £400,000-a-week.
With his future up in the air, the 31-year-old is not short of options, and has reportedly turned down the chance to play for team mate Andrea Pirlo at Karagumruk in Turkey. Alongside Forest, Cardiff City, Galatasaray and MLS teams are side to be monitoring his situation.

But former Forest, Derby County and Liverpool striker Saunders believes the Reds of Nottingham should chase his signature, while also naming Newcastle United as a possible destination. "Forest are the ones," he told talkSPORT. "A lot of people forget but Steve Cooper, he’s Welsh. He will know about Aaron and his availability.
"He covers more ground than any other player. If Newcastle are interested too, I can see any player being interested in that."
