Nottingham Forest are reportedly interested in Udinese defender Rodrigo Becao with the Reds said to be among four clubs that will battle for his signature this summer.
According to Mondo Udinese, Everton currently control the situation, but Inter Milan and Napoli have also requested information as they debate a move for him when the window reopens.
It is claimed that Forest tried to sign centre-back Becao in the January window with the 27-year-old in the final 18 months of his contract and he is expected to depart.

"One team that has requested information is Napoli, but at the moment there doesn't seem to be anything concrete," report Mondo Udinese.
"Other requests come mainly from the Premier League with two clubs in particular that are really interested in his performance.
"The first is Nottingham Forest who tried to sign the Brazilian already this January. The second, however, is Everton who have been controlling the central situation for even longer."
The chances of Becao leaving in the summer look a good bet given Udinese's technical director Pierpalo Marino explained that they might not be able to refuse a proposal at the end of the season.
"We want to return to amaze as we did at the beginning of the season. We have every intention of making the most of the work done in setting up this team," he told Rai Sport via Sport Witness.
"It is clear that for Becao and especially Beto – and we thank you for this – has renounced a huge offer that arrived in the last days of January to keep him here, but it will be difficult to do so in view of next season. Even if in the end someone like (Rodrigo) De Paul stayed longer than expected due to the requests he had, he made two renewals."
