A UK coroner will examine the death of a Nottinghamshire dad following an altercation in Spain. Tobias White-Sansom, 35, died on July 31, following an incident near the Boomerang nightclub in Majorca.
South Staffordshire's Coroner's Office will now hold an inquest into the death of the dad of two after his family called on public and political support to help them get answers over his last hours. Tobias had grown up in Radford, and was the brother of Nottinghamshire entrepreneur Maximillian White, who bought 40 hectares of land in the Algarve, Portugal, to build Europe’s biggest medical cannabis farm.
An independent inquiry was launched into his death, and his body was recently returned to the UK after a second autopsy took place. A spokesperson for the South Staffordshire Coroner's Office said: "An inquest will be taking place. No date is is set yet."

Tobias' cousin Ricardo Capone said the inquest had given his family hope. "It gives us hope that upon repatriation a logical brain is looking at this and thinking that something isn't right and there has to be further investigation into this," Mr Capone said.
"Getting Toby back to the UK and having the coroner see what we are seeing, and knowing the UK Government and our MPs are supporting us, we do feel quite hopeful that we'll get somewhere." Tobias was described as a caring person at his funeral, which was held on October 22.
