Emergency services were called to a flat blaze in Nottingham. Fire crews attended a property on Whitchurch Close, in Top Valley, shortly after 7pm on July 26.
Firefighters used water tender ladders, thermal imaging cameras, and positive pressure ventilation to extinguish the fire and clear smoke. A fire investigation found the cause to be accidental, it has been confirmed.

In a tweet, Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue service said: "ArnoldStn26 StockhillStn20 attended an incident on Whitchurch Lane Top Valley involving a fire in a 1sr floor flat. Crews used 1 hose reel jet, 2BA, a thermal imaging camera and positive pressure ventilation to extinguish the fire. EMAs were also in attendance."
The fire service left the scene shortly before 8pm.
