A Nottingham beauty queen is thrilled after winning the title of Miss Galaxy UK 2023. Chloe Rose Adkin, 22, will now represent the UK at the Galaxy International Pageant finals in Orlando, Florida, this August.
In her years as a pageant finalist, Chloe has raised thousands of pounds for various different charities - including the British Heart Foundation, which was "amazing" with her grandfather after he suffered a heart attack. She was crowned Miss Galaxy UK 2023 at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel against 30 other finalists.
She competed in an all-important interview round, where the judges got to ask her questions and hear all about her plans. She also took part in on-stage swimming, fashion and evening gown rounds.

Chloe has now advanced to the Galaxy International Pageant finals, where she will compete against countries like the USA, Canada, Bahamas and India to be crowned Miss Galaxy International. She said: "I'm so honoured to represent the UK in Orlando at the Miss Galaxy International Pageant this August.
"It's been a four-year process and I'm so excited that my dream has finally come true. I'm looking forward to spending the year fundraising and attending events across the UK. I would like to say a huge thank you to my sponsors who supported me during my year as Miss Nottingham Galaxy - Lucy Lashes, the Dress Boutique by Cherished, and Richard Murrill Pageant Sponsorship."
Chloe is also on the hunt for further sponsors for her international journey. To discuss sponsorship opportunities, email chloe.missnottingham@outlook.com
Chloe is not the only beauty queen in her family. Her mother Helen also took the crown last year as the UK's National Classic Ms.
She said she will be flying out with her daughter to support her in August and hopes to bring more crowns back to Nottingham.
