We love the Carnival each year, but it is always best to know where you're going.
Notting Hill Carnival 2019 will be a time of bold colours, amazing performances, and great food as London celebrates British West Indian heritage.
It's a landmark moment for British Black culture and where better to celebrate it in the heart of the diverse and welcoming city of London?
Stretching over a large portion of the capital surrounding Notting Hill, there will undoubtedly be travel disruption.
So, what do you need to know to get to the events okay?

Underground
Some nearby tube stations may shut down due to overcrowding and the nearest without major disruption are as follows: High Street Kensington, Queen’s Park, Shepherd’s Bush, Bayswater, and Paddington.
These stations, however, will operate as exit-only on both days.
There may be temporary closures, so keep an eye out online.
Ladbroke Grove is closed on both days.
Latimer Road closes at 11.30pm on both days.
Holland Park closes at 6pm on both days.
Royal Oak will close at 6pm and be exit-only from 11am-6pm on both days.
Westbourne Park will close at 11.30pm and be exit-only from 11am-6pm on both days.
Finally, Notting Hill Gate is exit-only on both days between 11am-7pm. Circle and District Line trains will not run to and from here during this time. There are Circle line trains only between 11am-7pm.
There is also no interchanging between the Circle and District Line with the Central Line on both days at Notting Hill Gate.
Overground
There will be no trains between Camden Road and Willesden Junction.
Kensal Rise station will be closed.
Shepherd's Bush station is open but there will only be services between Clapham Junction and Willesden Junction from 11.15am on Sunday.
Much of the disruption is due to improvement work on the North London Line.
Buses
There are no buses in the Carnival area from early Sunday until resuming normal service on Tuesday morning, with night buses also facing diversions.
Bus services on both days start at Notting Hill Gate in the south and The Prince of Wales on Harrow Road in the north.
