It must be a big game if the Notre Dame football program is donning green jerseys. And while the Fighting Irish don’t have that great of a record in green, it still gets the fans all riled up.
Ohio State travels to South Bend on Saturday, September 23, for a prime-time matchup that every football fan who planned accordingly is going to tune into. The Buckeyes won last year’s tussle of top ten teams, and Notre Dame would love nothing more to have its former OSU player head coach, Marcus Freeman, lead it to victory.
So, anything and everything helps, right? So why not bust out some green jerseys again? Notre Dame social media unveiled these green beauties (it’s in the eyes of the beholder) by spoofing one of the great romance and sports movies of the 90s. Show me the green jerseys already.

I have to admit, this is pretty creative and fun to watch. Let’s hope Ohio State has the Fighting Irish at Hello on September 23 (if you know, you know).
