In 2019, the world watched in horror as the iconic Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris was engulfed in flames, causing extensive damage to the historic structure. The task of resurrecting this celebrated building came with a hefty price tag, with estimates indicating a cost of 700 million euros ($737 million).
