In October of 2022, Indiana offensive lineman Ian Moore pledged to Ohio State. He was the first commitment for the Buckeyes in the 2024 cycle.
The 6-foot, 5-inch, 295-pound lineman is a top-100 player, No. 60 overall, and the third best interior offensive lineman in the country on the 247Sports composite. It’s safe to say Ohio State got a good one early.
Buy Buckeyes TicketsAs we all know with recruiting, it’s not official until the prospect signs because other schools will continue recruiting him. That’s exactly the case with Moore, who on Monday had multiple recruiting insiders report Moore had been offered a scholarship by Notre Dame.
#IrishIllustrated and #247Sports have learned that #NotreDame has extended an offer to class of 2024 four-star offensive lineman Ian Moore, arguably the top overall player in the Hoosier State.

If you look at Moore’s Twitter page, there wasn’t a post about the offer and it’s very pro-Ohio State. It remains to be seen if the offer from the Irish will have any effect on his decision.
