'Nothing has changed!' - Manchester United fans rage as Brighton storm into two-goal lead

Manchester United made the worst possible start to the Erik ten Hag era, falling 2-0 down with less than 40 minutes on the clock against Brighton & Hove Albion in their season opener at Old Trafford.

For the Seagulls' opener, Danny Welbeck, formerly of the Reds, latched onto Leandro Trossard's excellent through ball, getting in between Lisandro Martinez and Harry Maguire, and put the ball on a plate for Pascal Gross to tap home at the back-post.
