Vijay Kadam dies of cancer

Mumbai: Veteran Marathi stage and screen actor Vijay Kadam breathed his last in the early hours of Saturday. He was 67.

Fighting with cancer
Vijay was fighting cancer for the past year and a half. He was undergoing treatment but this Saturday morning he passed away. His demise has left the entire Marathi industry in a state of shock. 

His death has left a big void in the Marathi cinema, where he was celebrated for his extensive work and his versatality.

Big contribution to stage and screen
Vijay Kadam was a prominent figure in Marathi films, serials, and dramas throughout the 1980s and 90s. Throughout his illustrious career, Vijay Kadam made significant contributions to both the stage and the screen. 

Popular plays
His performances in popular plays like "Eccha Majhi Puri Kara" and "Khurchi Samrat" were widely appreciated and earned him a loyal fan base. Kadam’s ability to connect with audiences through his performances made him a household name in Marathi entertainment.
