An building in Edinburgh has been named as the ugliest piece of architecture across the whole of the UK - and we're sure you could guess which one it is.
Bland architecture on a massive scale makes life dull for locals and tourists alike. But a dramatically ugly building can spark a passionate ‘love to hate’ affair.
And, it has been revealed by Buildworld that The Scottish Parliament Building in Edinburgh takes the top spot for the ugliest building in the UK, and even the world - with 42.07 per cent of tweets criticising the design.

Buildworld have curated a long list of buildings that are often said to be ugly, and analysed the percentage of tweets that were negative about each building’s design.
Edinburgh has taken the top spot in the ten-strong list, with Newport Station in Newport coming in at second. Preston Train Station is third, with Royal Liverpool Hospital and the MI6 Building in London completing the top five.
Sixth is One Hyde Park in London, with Bridgewater Place in Leeds taking seventh. The Redcar Beacon, Balfron Tower in London and the Shankly Hotel in Liverpool make up the rest of the top ten ugliest buildings in the UK.
