Patrick Stewart says that the decision to keep Philippe Clement in his current post as Rangers manager isn't financially driven.
The Ibrox CEO met with the Rangers Fan Advisory Board last week and was pressed on Clement's future.
Reiterating his and the club's stance on the manager, Stewart revealed that their decision to retain Clement is 'not financially driven' but rather a recognition that there is 'so much else' to fix in the footballing department.

Also, in the meeting, Stewart was asked about his perspective on the current mood within the Rangers faithful. He said that some supporters' criticisms of the team have been 'harsh but fair' while conceding that fan communications from the club have been 'patchy'.
It should be noted that the meeting took place before Rangers' shock loss to Queen's Park in the Scottish Cup on Sunday.
Despite the defeat, Clement remains in his post as his side prepares to face Heart of Midlothian at Tynecastle in the Scottish Premiership this weekend.
