Richarlison has posted an emotional message to Everton supporters following Monday’s draw against Tottenham Hotspur.
The Brazilian, who joined the Blues for £30m from Watford back in 2018, completed a £60m move to Spurs at the start of the summer transfer window. The forward, who made 152 appearances and scored 53 goals, became a fans' favourite during his time on Merseyside.
Richarlison was instrumental in helping the Goodison Park club avoid the drop last season, as he found the back of the net 11 times and added a further five assists in 33 outings.

Injury prevented Richarlison from returning to Goodison on Monday night with Spurs, but Blues supporters still showed their love and appreciation for the Brazilian by unveiling a banner of club greats ahead of the game, which included Richarlison.
And posting on Instagram, the former Watform man said: “Not even in my wildest dreams did I imagine receiving this kind of tribute.
“Even playing in a rival and giving all my blood for the Spurs shirt, it's impossible not to feel happy and grateful. It's the recognition I strive for everywhere I go. And I'm going to do it here too. Thank you, Toffees!”
In his departing thank you message to Everton on social media, Richarlison wrote: “It's very difficult to say goodbye to a place that has become my home; of fans who welcomed me not just as another player, but as if I were one of them, in the stands; and a club that treated me kindly and helped me develop my sense of community and empathy.
“No words and not all the love I have for this club is enough to thank you. We'll see you along the way. I love you Evertonians.”
