Newcastle United fans have given their thoughts about a potential move for Cristiano Ronaldo now that the Portuguese legend has left Manchester United.
Ronaldo made his return to United against the Magpies last year but many Newcastle fans have already written off the possibility of him arriving at St. James' Park in January.
The Portuguese international had reportedly fallen out with manager Erik ten Hag before doing a tell-all interview with Piers Morgan which has now led to him parting ways with the Red Devils early.

Taking to social media, Newcastle fans were out in force arguing against the move, with some saying that Ronaldo is the absolute opposite of what Eddie Howe needs in January.

@NUFC_933: All he would do is be a disruptive influence. Talented as he is, he's struggling at the minute and his frustrations are on the pitch, in the dugout, aimed at the team, manager etc. The sooner he leaves the Prem the better.
