Nostalgic crisps hit Iceland as freezer product and shoppers are flabbergasted

A nostalgic favourite among millennials has been transformed from crisps to freezer food by Iceland, and shoppers are rushing to get their hands on a packet.

On Monday evening, a popular Facebook group that shares the newest products hitting shelves posted that Nik Naks would be branching out to freezer food soon.

In the post, the page wrote: "NEW PRODUCT ALERT! Brand new Nik Naks Shredded Chicken coming to Iceland Foods soon!

"Flavours will be Rib N Saucy & Nice N Spicy! Hats off to Iceland - what an amazing product!"

The post has garnered just under 3,000 likes and over 11,000 comments, as shoppers rave about the newest product hitting the freezers of Iceland.

One Facebook user wrote: "Omg got try these when they're in Iceland."

Another said: "There's only one flavour of Nik Naks worth eating and I can't see scampi and lemon shredded chicken being all that nice."

And a third wrote: "Not sure how to feel about this, I'm so confused about the whole thing."

More comments read: "Rib n saucy chicken yessssss can’t wait to try this."

While other said: "Need to give these a whirl!"

And one commented: "Ummm the Rib’N’Saucy though. Sounds amazing."

Finally, one concluded: "Anywhere we can get these right now coz I want!"

The Nik Naks Shredded Chicken products will be available in Nice 'n' Spicy and Rib 'n' Saucy flavours in Iceland soon.
