True to its new brand positioning, MORE, Norwegian Cruise Line is giving its passengers more things to do on its new Prima Plus Class ships.
When sister ships Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna set sail in April 2025 and 2026, respectively, it will be “game on” on board with new gaming experiences and upgraded activities in revamped venues. One of the improvements even includes changing an add-on experience to a complimentary activity on board the new cruise ships.

With Aqua and Luna, the cruise line is evolving several activities and spaces found on its Prima and Viva ships and reimagining its popular virtual reality and arcade game areas. The next evolution of Norwegian’s Galaxy Pavilion and arcade venues, the Aqua and Luna Game Zone will offer an array of games and activities designed to appeal to a wide range of passengers of different ages.
While Galaxy Pavilion featured an emphasis on virtual reality games, the Aqua and Luna Game Zone will incorporate more traditional arcade game options. The gaming space will include immersive virtual reality experiences such as Space Racing and Beat Hero where players dance to the rhythm of the beat with dual swords, plus retro arcade games like Ms. Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, and Down the Clown.

Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna offer new games
Improving upon an activity introduced on its Prima and Viva ships, Norwegian is also redesigning its pub-style dart game experience The Bull’s Eye to feature a full-service bar and no cost to play.
When The Bull’s Eye first launched on Prima and Viva, passengers had to rent a bay for as much as $40 per hour to play a round of darts with up to six people. The price later dropped to $5 in 2024.

As a complimentary onboard activity on Aqua and Luna, The Bull’s Eye Bar will offer six different interactive dart games at levels from beginner to advanced. Players will take aim at a classic dart board that features added video-game-style graphics and automated scoring projected onto a big-screen TV. With the addition of the bar, passengers will be able to enjoy hand-crafted cocktails while they play.
Aqua and Luna will also feature an enhanced version of the Norwegian Prima Class’ interactive and tech-immersive mini golf at sea, Tee Time. Themed around the “Wonders of the World,” this mini golf area popular with families will be more than twice as large on the new ships with 12 holes spanning two decks.

Norwegian’s newest ships will have new sports courts and wild slides
By popular demand, pickleball will have a bigger presence on Aqua and Luna with its own dedicated court space separate from The Stadium outdoor sports area. The new Norwegian cruise ships will also feature The Glow Court, a new digital sports complex with an interactive LED floor. The Glow Court will offer a variety of immersive games by day and then transform into a nightclub in the evening.
Adventurous passengers can experience new thrills aboard Aqua and Luna with the world’s first hybrid roller coaster and waterslide, the Aqua Slidecoaster. The exhilarating dueling slide attraction will use a magnetic lift to propel riders through two different courses featuring three stories of twists and turns around the ship's funnel. The new ships will also include Norwegian’s 10-story free-fall slide The Drop.
