Anyone looking for work or a new career could receive a helping hand at a massive jobs fair in Newcastle city centre.
The Newcastle Careers Fair is set to take place at St James' Park on Wednesday, August 10, with hundreds of vacancies on offer. Northumbria Police, BT and Go North East are among the employers looking to take on new staff at the free event which will run from 10am to 2pm.
Job seekers can meet the local and national employers face-to-face during the careers fair and apply directly for the opportunities up for grabs. Organisers say that people of all ages and levels of experience are welcome to come along to speak with the wide variety of employers exhibiting.

Jobs on offer include positions in finance, education, sales and marketing, as well as motoring, IT, healthcare, and hospitality, among many other fields. Roles are also available across a variety of different levels including entry-level, management roles, apprenticeships and graduate.
