Northern Rail's flash sale closes at 4pm today with tickets still available for just £1.
These tickets, available for travel between Tuesday, September 6 and Thursday, October 20. They are only available while stocks last and on selected routes.
The good news is, for parents, kids travel at half price for just 50p and kids under the age of five are allowed to travel for free. They are available on bookings made either online or via the Northern Rail app.

According to Northern Rail, these are the ten most popular routes from Leeds where you can get a ticket for this period for just £1. They are:
- York and Leeds
- Hull and Leeds
- Sheffield and Manchester Piccadilly
- Preston and Manchester Piccadilly
- Liverpool and Manchester Piccadilly
- Knaresborough and Leeds
- Manchester Piccadilly and Buxton
- Saltburn and Middlesborough
- Barrow in Furness and Carlisle
- Leeds and Hebden Bridge
The Customer and Commercial Director for Northern, Mark Powles, said: “As we enter the final hours of our Flash Sale, I’m pleased to say there are still some great journeys up for grabs for just £1. Customers have until 4pm today to buy their tickets.”
