Northern Irish comedians to face off in a huge charity boxing event

You’ve come to see them tell jokes - now come and see them knock the socks off each other for a good cause.

Some of the biggest names on the Northern Irish comedy scene are planning to go head to head in a spectacular night of amateur boxing.

Local comedians will battle it out at the Ulster Hall next month with all proceeds will go to PIPS, Suicide Prevention in Ireland.

Funny men Paddy McDonnell, Micky Bartlett, Shane Todd, Mark McCarney and many more of the best stand-ups in the country are getting ready to rumble at the 'Valentine's Day Massacre'.

The event will take place on Saturday, February 11, and tickets go on sale from the Ulster Hall website at 12pm on Friday, January 6.

On the card is:

  • Paddy Mcdonnell Vs. Ronan Boyle
  • Shane Todd Vs. Johnny Bow
  • Micky Bartlett Vs. Mark McCarney
  • Sean Hegarty Vs. Pete Giffen
  • Sara Jade Davison Vs. Heather Anderson
  • James McKegney Vs. Ian Thompson
  • Sean McAleevy Vs. Darren Matthews
  • Rachel Mcpeake Vs. Claire Corrigan

Fans can also expect appearances from Ciaran Bartlett, Aaron McCann, boxer-turned-comedian Tommy McCarthy, William Thompson, Jordan Robinson, Dave Elliott, Conor Key and many more.
