Dion Charles vowed to deliver more goals after breaking his international duck with a clinical brace against San Marino on Thursday night.
The Bolton striker scored in either half as Northern Ireland recorded a comfortable 2-0 win in Serravalle.
Charles poked home the opener after 24 minutes, and headed home his second just 10 minutes after the restart as Michael O'Neill kicked off his second reign with a crucial Euro 2024 qualifying victory.

Northern Ireland will have sterner tests ahead in Group H, starting with the visit of Finland to Windsor Park on Sunday night.
And Charles says confidence will be high after getting the campaign off to a winning start.
"It's amazing. It is a great achievement for me and I am delighted," Charles said of his two goals.
"But the most important thing is we came here and got the job done and got three points.
"It is a great start to the campaign.
"It is brilliant for me to carry my club form into the international window. My job is to score goals and I always said that if I am given a chance then I will show people what I can do.
"Thankfully tonight I got my second international start and I have two international goals."
Charles added: "The manager just told us to play our own style of football, work hard and bring lots of energy. And we have done that tonight.
"Now we can look forward to Finland in Belfast. It is going to be brilliant playing at Windsor Park in front of a packed crowd.
"The fans were great tonight so I can only imagine what they will be like at Windsor."
It took O'Neill 10 games to record a win during his first reign as Northern Ireland manager.
He couldn't have been handed an easier task in his opening game since returning to the post in December, taking on the lowest ranked side in the world.
San Marino also haven't won a competitive game in their history, and they never looked like rewriting their history books last night.
"I am delighted with the win. These games are never easy," O'Neill said.
"Everyone expects you to come and win, but you are dealing with an opposition which is very well organised, and playing with a lot of pride as well.
"We had three days of preparation with a group of players and a new coaching staff and everything that comes along with that.
"But the players did everything we asked of them, and I am pleased with many aspects of the performance. There are one or two things that clearly we need to improve upon as well.
"We also finished the game with three 19-year-olds and that is a positive."
