Northern Ireland property market: The three cheapest houses below £80,000 in Derry

House prices in Derry are appearing to remain high as we enter 2022.

A quick search on various property sites reveals just a small selection of homes in our region that are currently up for sale for less than £100,000.

It is therefore likely that any bargain homes will soon fly off the market, as demand continues to outweigh supply.

Three homes are currently the cheapest properties listed on Propertypal in the area - ranging between £74,000 and £75,000.

Here are the three properties you can buy for a budget price of £100,000 or less:

Ulsterville Avenue

£74,000

Ulsterville Avenue (PropertyPal)

The cheapest home up for sale in the area is this two Bed End-terrace House For Sale listed for £74,950.

Ulsterville Avenue is just off Bonds Street on the Waterside of the City. A five-minute walk would take you to Ebrington Square and The Peace Bridge and all its surrounding amenities.

This property will not be on the market long so get in touch to arrange your appointment to view.

Emerson Street

£75,000

Emerson Street, Derry (PropertyPal)

This two bedroom terrace house on Emerson Street in the Waterside is on offer for just £75,000.

This excellent investment opportunity or first time buy is situated in a convenient location close to shops and other local amenities. The property offers uPVC double glazed windows, gas central heating and a hi-gloss fitted kitchen.

Accommodation comprises entrance porch, entrance hall, through lounge, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms.

It also has a rear yard with outside shed. Viewings strictly by appointment.

Hawthorn Terrace

£75,000

Hawthorn Terrace (PropertyPal)

This mid-terrace property has three upstairs bedrooms, two downstairs receptions, a kitchen extension and a downstairs bathroom.

All functional but just in need of modernisation.

There are signs of rising dampness on the ground floor which need treatment and just some TLC throughout.

It is a job for a builder or developer with the ability to purchase without a mortgage. This property will not mortgage in its current state.
