Northern Ireland Pizza Hut owner sets out plan for three more restaurants

The owner of Northern Ireland’s only Pizza Hut has set out plans to open three more restaurants over the next two years.

Sandeep Sharma said he will invest £1.2 million in the new Pizza Hut eateries in Belfast and Greater Belfast.

The news comes after the completion of a £500,000 upgrade to Mr Sharma’s Pizza Hut on the Ormeau Road in the city, which has been expanded to include seating for up to 25 people. The move sees the creation of an additional five jobs on top of the existing 10 staff members at the outlet, extended opening hours and the additional of a restaurant liquor license.

“There is a demand for the quality, menus and fun of the Pizza Hut experience,” Mr Sharma said. “The ability to offer that to sit in and dine was an obvious step.

“I plan to make a further investment with three more over the next two years that will represent a total investment of £1.2m in Belfast and the greater Belfast area.”
