North Leeds Food Festival 2022 to return to Roundhay Park with live music and exciting food

A huge food, drink and music festival is happening in Roundhay Park this summer.

The North Leeds Food Festival will be returning to Roundhay Park over the May 14 and 15 weekend. It will feature internationally inspired cuisine and drink along with live music performances and entertainment.

You’ll be able to feast on Canadian poutine, Italian pasta dishes, Greek inspired wraps, hot Thai curries, Japanese gyozas, and fresh barbecue meats. Leeds restaurant favourite Mans Market will also be returning to the festival with new twists on classic Chinese dishes.

Festival director Michael Johnston said: "We're thrilled to be returning to Roundhay Park for our sixth year. With the incredible support of the people of Leeds, we've grown each year.

“In 2022, expect to see increased food, drink and entertainment offering, featuring some of Yorkshire's finest chefs, food producers and entertainers."

Artists and musicians from around Yorkshire will take to the stage for a packed line up of soul, blues, pop, jazz and rock, alongside family entertainment, magicians and street performances.

Festival coordinator Hannah Dewhirst said: “Attendees have a lot to look forward to this year, with an expanded artisan market that really showcases the variety and quality that is coming out of independent Leeds businesses.

“We’re here to support traders, chefs, musicians, artists and charities from all around Yorkshire, and we’re looking forward to celebrating the talent that comes from Leeds with a jam-packed weekend of food and entertainment.”

North Leeds Food Festival will be supporting charity Leeds MIND, who support those suffering with mental health difficulties, having already raised over £45,000 in previous years.
