Although residents of Newcastle and its surrounding areas were able to bask in the spring sunshine today, the forecast over the coming days are a much more glum affair.
While it'll be shiny and bright early tomorrow morning, the mood will soon change with clouds partially blocking out the sun for the most part of the day. Showers are then expected to roll in at around 5.00pm - with further downpours anticipated in the hour leading up to midnight.
Highs of 12C and lows of 7C are predicted.

And Friday's forecast is even grimmer still, with the three-hour forecast from the Met Office showing consistent rain between 12.00pm and 6.00pm, with much brasher temperatures between 10C and 5C accordingly.
The Met Office says: "A bright start Thursday, though patchy cloud and blustery showers developing from mid-morning. Strong winds continuing.
"Maximum temperature 13 °C."
