As we transition from August to September the Met Office predicts that weather is likely to become breezy with some heavy showers in places.
However, in the coming days temperatures are set to remain warm with highs of 20°C on Wednesday. Forecasters predict that there will be sunny spells throughout Wednesday and Thursday, before weather becomes more changeable towards the weekend.
The official forecast for Wednesday is: "Bright but rather cloudy in the morning, with the chance of a shower. Some sunny spells in the afternoon, any showers becoming confined to the western hills. Fairly warm inland. Maximum temperature 20 °C."
