Newcastle and the North East's bleak weather will stick around again on Wednesday, with morning mist turning to fog, and overcast skies from the outset.
Wednesday will play host to thick grey clouds all day, with temperatures between 4 and 5C. And while many North East residents may expect showers, it's predicted to stay relatively dry, albeit very dull.
However, the clouds will be set to burst by Thursday - with 40% precipitation expected between mid-morning and early afternoon. After any showers clear up, it is also expected to remain cloudy.

The official Met Office forecast for Wednesday is: "Low cloud, mist and fog will be slow to clear and once again will persist in places. Any brighter spells will be brief and most likely in the west. Maximum temperature 6°C.
