The changeable autumnal weather could cause some disruption tomorrow before things settle down by Thursday, treating the region to some increasingly rare sunny spells as winter approaches.
The Met Office has extended a yellow weather warning to the North East for strong winds on Wednesday, saying that the windy weather is likely to cause transport delays. Gusts of up to 42mph are forecast on Wednesday which will make temperatures feel around 3°C cooler than they are, along with heavy showers in the early evening.
Luckily Thursday is looking more settled and dry, with wind gusts dropping down to around 15mph and sunny intervals forecast throughout the day. Here's the hourly breakdown of what the weather will look like in Newcastle over the next two days.
