North East weather: Hour-by-hour forecast for Wednesday and Thursday according to the Met Office

Residents across the North East can expect cloudy conditions on Wednesday and Thursday, but no downpours are expected to accompany.

Tomorrow's outlook is cloudy from start to finish, with no sunny spells nor rain predicted whatsoever. Don't let the outlook deceive you though, as the Met Office expects sweet highs of 15C and chilly lows of 7C to accompany.

Thursday's outlook is set for more of the same, cloudy but dry throughout. Highs of 9C and lows of 8C are anticipated.

On the weather, the Met Office says: "Another cool and cloudy day, although cloud is expected to thin from the south. This may allow one or two afternoon sunny spells to develop.

"Staying rather chilly. Maximum temperature 14 °C."
