The Met Office is predicting that conditions in Newcastle will stay completely dry on Tuesday and Wednesday this week, albeit the skies will be covered in thick white clouds.
Following on from the Queen's funeral today, the weather leading into the middle of the week across the North East is expected to carry on in similar fashion. Although, any glimpses of Autumn sunshine caught on Monday will be completely clouded up by overcast skies bringing chillier conditions.
Highs of 17C and bitter lows of 11C are expected throughout the course of tomorrow, with no rain expected whatsoever.

It's more of the same looking forward to Wednesday too - with respective highs of 18C and lows of 13C expected in accordance. Similar skies will hover above the region once more as the middle of the week comes around though, with no sun in sight - but no rain expected either.
The official weather forecast for Sunday is: "Variable amounts of cloud and early mist and fog will soon dissipate. Some brightness by afternoon with a few sunny spells, but a light shower could develop. Maximum temperature 18 °C."
As it stands, the Met Office also say that Wednesday through to Sunday will show: "Variable cloud and sunny spells Wednesday. Cloudy Thursday with a band of rain, heavy at times, sinking south-eastwards. Sunny and mostly dry Friday. Mist and fog patches possible each morning."
