Sunny spells could give way to scattered showers and claps of thunder this Halloween weekend.
Forecasters predict that while the region will see a some unsettled weather over the next couple of days with a chance of showers. So trick-or-treaters may need to pack an umbrella if venturing out.
The official Met Office forecast for Sunday is: "Dry start with sunny spells, but cloud is expected to increase bringing scattered showers, especially during the afternoon some heavy and perhaps thundery in places. Breezy, with temperatures above average. Maximum temperature 15 °C."

The outlook for Monday to Wednesday is: "Unsettled with showers or longer spells of rain, although Monday showers are likely to be light and isolated. Breezy Monday then windy Tuesday and Wednesday. Temperatures lowering closer to average."
