The miserable weather from throughout the week is set to merge into the weekend, with grey and cloudy skies and the odd bit of drizzle anticipated.
Friday is set to be overcast from the onset and throughout, but remains relatively dry - with no more than a ten per cent chance of rain at any one time. Highs of 7C and lows of 5C are expected to accompany.
Saturday will start off in the same fashion, with thick white clouds covering the skyline - however, light showers are expected at sunrise and later in the evening.

The official Met Office forecast for tomorrow, is: "Generally cloudy through the morning but any patchy rain and drizzle easing. Dry by the afternoon and becoming increasingly bright. Colder but clearer overnight. Maximum temperature 7 °C."
The outlook for the rest of the weekend, is: "Cold start Saturday, then cloudy with showers developing. Cloudy and turning colder Sunday and Monday with strengthening easterly winds and occasional showers, perhaps wintry on higher hills."
