The North East looks set for a weekend of patchy rain and bright spells.
Leading meteorologists the Met Office have forecast two days of mixed conditions and mild weather over Saturday and Sunday and heading into early next week in the region.
According to them, the North East will experience maximum temperatures of 15 °C, marking a mild end to October.

With many looking to celebrate Halloween in the coming days, the news of milder weather will be welcomed by many looking to head out for get togethers and maybe some early trick or treating.
According to the Met Office, this is how tomorrow is expected to shape up weather-wise:
The said: "Any early fog clearing, but turning cloudier through the morning.
"Patchy, mainly light, rain then spreading north to affect most parts by the afternoon. Very mild. Maximum temperature 15 °C."
