The North East is set for a mild and mostly fine day on Thursday, though showers are possible.
The day will start off cloudy, though the region is in for some sun in the afternoon, before a clear night. Friday will also start off cloudy, but the afternoon will see heavy rain.
The Met Office said Thursday will be a "mostly fine day, with early low cloud and fog soon breaking to sunny spells. Scattered blustery showers are possible, however many parts staying dry.
