North East hour-by-hour Met Office weather forecast for Thursday October 27

The North East is set for a mild and cloudy Thursday.

There's also the possibility of heavy rain in the morning and it'll be a bit breezy, though it's expected to dry up in the afternoon. Temperatures should reach the mid-teens before they start to drop when the sun sets at 5:41pm.

Friday is set to be breezy and longer spells of rain are possible, with heavy rain expected in the morning. However, there will also be drier and brighter weather, most likely in the afternoon.

The Met Office said: "Rather cloudy and breezy with showery rain moving north, heavy at times. Gradually becoming drier through the afternoon with some brighter interludes developing.

"Mild. Maximum temperature 16 °C."
