The North East is in for a lot of cold and cloud during the first weekend in December.
If you're finally getting round to Christmas shopping, you may want to head inside or get wrapped up for a wander around Newcastle's Christmas Market on Saturday. And bring a waterproof for the afternoon - as we're set for showers after 5pm.
On Sunday, it's set to rain all day, though showers will only be heavy in the early hours of the morning. It'llf eel especially cold on the coast, while it'll be wintry on the hills in Northumberland and County Durham.
