North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum recently addressed speculation about his potential involvement in the Trump administration at the America First Policy Institute gala. While not confirming any specific role, Burgum did not rule out the possibility either.

During an interview at Mar-a-Lago, Burgum was asked if he would be interested in the role of energy czar. He responded by acknowledging the rumors surrounding his potential appointment but emphasized that his focus has never been on a particular position.

Burgum highlighted the Trump administration's dedication to addressing issues related to energy, inflation, and national security. Reports have suggested that Burgum is being considered for the position of energy czar, despite Trump's previous endorsement for him to serve as the Secretary of the Department of Energy, a role Burgum has consistently expressed disinterest in.

When questioned about discussions regarding the Secretary of the Interior position, Burgum vaguely mentioned ongoing conversations about various opportunities. He humorously remarked that nothing should be considered true until it is confirmed on Truth Social, a platform associated with Trump.
