North Carolina Republican candidates have spent $2.53 million more than Democrats

In North Carolina, candidates who have filed state campaign finance reports spent $25.07 million between Jan. 1, 2021, and Apr. 30, 2022. State-level Democratic candidates spent $6.72 million and Republican candidates spent $9.25 million.

*”Unclassified” candidates include municipal candidates who have filed state campaign finance reports in North Carolina. These candidates’ reports are included in total expenditures but not in state-level totals by party.
