North Belfast missing woman appeal as concern mounts

The public is being asked to help find a young woman missing from her home in North Belfast for three days.

Atlanta Cooke, 26 and from Prospect Park in the Ardoyne district, has not been seen since around 3.30pm on Saturday.

Her mum Emma Cooke told Belfast Live “it’s just not like her” to be out of contact for such a long period. Emma said Atlanta was only wearing pyjamas when she was last seen.

She added: “We’ve contacted everybody who knows her and no one knows where she is. I’m just worried about her.”

Emma said she is looking after Atlanta’s children while she is missing. She added that the police have been informed of the situation.

In a Facebook post appealing for help, Emma said: “Has anyone seen or spoke to Atlanta? She has been missing from sat afternoon if anyone knows anything at all please please get in touch she's very vulnerable atm and we all just want her home. Please share North Belfast area.”
