A jobs fair coming to Irvine next week will have as many as 300 new roles up for grabs.
North Ayrshire Council will hold the event in the Volunteer Rooms on Wednesday, June 22 from 10am until 12.30pm.
SimpsInns, the NHS, Wetherspoons and Police Scotland are among 30 employers seeking new team members.
The fair, which is the first of its kind in the region since the pandemic, will have hundreds of positions available.
Councillor Tony Gurney, cabinet member for economy and Climate Change, said: “It’s great that we are able to host another jobs fair and a massive thanks to our team and all those involved in making it happen.
“Growing our economy, providing sustainable employment and giving people as many opportunities as possible is a priority for this council.
"We hope lots of people attend and while we can’t guarantee everyone jobs, we can guarantee that they will be helped and offered great advice.”
Staff will be on hand to offer advice and register attendees for a myjobscotland account.
