Authorities in Norridge, Illinois are on the lookout for at least three individuals involved in a brazen theft at a local jewelry store. The incident took place at Zevar Jewelers located in the Harlem and Irving Mall on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Norridge Police Department, the suspects, described as three Black men, were caught on video breaking through glass display cases and making off with a significant amount of watches and jewelry. The theft occurred around 4:30 p.m. and was captured by a bystander's camera.
In the footage shared by the police on social media, the perpetrators can be seen inside the store, with two individuals holding bags while the third person stuffs jewelry into his pockets. The situation escalates as one of the men smashes a glass case, grabs items, and swiftly exits the scene.
Following the theft, the suspects fled in a dark gray sedan, possibly accompanied by two other individuals. Law enforcement officials are currently reviewing multiple videos provided by witnesses to gather more information about the incident.
